On October 10-11, 2018, as part of the VI Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the exhibition “Architecture of peace and harmony” of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Elbasy was presented to the visitors.

A special place in the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Library of Elbasy has the theme of preservation of interfaith and interreligious harmony in modern society, peacemaking efforts and creative approach of Kazakhstan in foreign multi-faceted policy. A number of archival and illustrative documents, a collection of diplomatic gifts from forum participants from many countries of the world, public awards presented to the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev for his contribution to the preservation of interfaith peace and harmony - tells about the history of convening and holding the five Congresses of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana.

The exhibition “Architecture of peace and harmony” presents unique exhibits from the Museum collection of the Elbasy Library, mainly diplomatic gifts, including items from the recent receipts of 2017-2018. A special place among the exhibits is a fragment of kiswah (kiswah, kiswah) – covering the walls of the Holy Kaaba made of black silk with embroidered gold threads ayats and surahs from the Holy book of Muslims - the Koran. The fragment of kiswah is a gift to the President of our country from the King of Saudi Arabia Mr. King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman, given in April 2017.

In total, the exhibition presents more than thirty exhibits illustrating the history of the Congresses of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The exhibition aims to show Kazakhstan's experience of achieving dialogue in complex post-Soviet reality and modern conditions of globalization.
