INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM «INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE FIELD OF RATIONAL USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES»
On May 23 of this yearat 9.00 am theLibrary of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy jointly with the Honda Foundation is holding an international symposium «Innovative technologies in the field of rational use of natural resources». The event is organized by the support of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
18 scientists from Japan and other authoritative representatives of Kazakhstan's political, business and scientific elite will be attended in the event.
Deputy director of the Library of the First President of the RK – Elbassy, doctor of political sciences professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Anarbek Karashev (EPA), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Kazakhstan Ichiro Kawabata, President of the Honda Foundation (HOF) Hiroto Ishida, President of «Nazarbayev University» Shigeo Katsu, Vice-Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Toktabaev, former President of Japan Science and Technology Agency, Dr. Michiharu Nakamura, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov, Chairman of the International Committee of the Honda Foundation (HOF) Akira Kozhma, Vice-Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystan Kabikenov will take part in the symposium.
Approaches to management in the field of environmental, economic and innovation policy of Japan, as well as views on new challenges in the effective use, protection and restoration of natural resources will be presented to the expert audience for discussion.
Theme of section sessions: innovative technologies and legal aspects for the efficient use of natural resources (industrial policy, various reforms in the field of advanced technologies), successful examples in the field of rational use of natural resources in the practice of environmental technologies (best practices of Japan and Kazakhstan), future technologies for a sustainable society (human resources development for the transformation of the industrial structure).
The moderators of the sessions are the leading scientists of Kazakhstan and Japan: Kasym Zhumadilov, Ph.D., professor, head of the International department of nuclear physics, new materials and technologies of the L. Gumilyov ENU; Teito Arimoto, Professor GRIPS (Higher School of Political Science of the National University), Director of the Honda Foundation; Saltanat Rakhimbekova, Chairman of the ALE «Coalition for green economy and development of G-Global», Doctor of Economics, Professor; Sunami Atsushi, Vice-President of GRIPS (Higher School of Political Science of the National University), Director of the Honda Foundation; Bahyt Esekina, director of the scientific-educational center «Green Academy», professor, doctor of economic sciences; Uchida Hirohiza, Professor of the University of Tokai, Director of the Honda Foundation(HOF); Uchida Hirohiza doctor.
The international symposium will be held in a new form of professional communication of scientists. In which only practical reports on the application and implementation of innovative technologies will be presented.
To participate in the symposium, practitioners and researchers in the field of environmental technology and green economy, representatives of the media, academic and teaching circles, all interested persons are invited.
