Heydar Aliyev Foundation opens exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of ADR in Berlin.
An exhibition and an official reception organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany opened in Berlin on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
A documentary film about the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was also shown and a musical program with the participation of well-known Azerbaijani musicians was presented.
On 30 November, 2018 Turkey hosted the V Istanbul conference on mediation "Enhancing the practice of mediation for sustaining peace". The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey and with the active participation of experts of the UN, OSCE, OIC and other organizations. Senior research officer of the department of geopolitics and regional studies of the Library of Elbassy Yerlan Uskenbayev attended the conference.
The VI International Forum "Eurasian Economic Perspective" organized by the St. Petersburg state economic university, the Eurasian association of the universities and the Presidential library of B.N. Yeltsin with assistance of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, JSC "Interstate Corporation of Development" and the Administration of Saint Petersburg was held from 10 to 13 December 2018 in St. Petersburg.

The Library of Elbassy held a presentation of the book "Zhas Kyran", which includes the names of the winners of the Republican contest "Best student". The purpose of the competition is to identify and encourage students who have most actively manifested themselves in research work, creativity, student self-government, sports, the development of the movement of students’ teams and other areas of extra-curricular activities.
Today in the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy took place a solemn opening of the new permanent exhibitions “Musical instruments of peoples of the world” and “Sport victories of Kazakhstan”. The event is timed to coincide with the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the opening of the new exhibition, a new type of excursion was presented - an audio tour of the collection of musical instruments of the peoples of the world.
The students of two major universities of Kazakhstan were trained at the Library of Elbassy. 50 students of South Kazakhstan state University and East Kazakhstan University attended lectures on the program "Ruhani Zhangyru: the way to the future". The meeting ended with a two-day seminar with a well-known financial expert, managing director of the Astana International Financial Center Yernur Rysmagambetov.
One of the large-scale projects of the Library of Elbassy in the year past was mobile exhibitions "The First". The organizers have tried to reach as many viewers as possible, having developed interesting lectures and expositions specially for each audience.
November 30, 2018 in the Emergency Committee of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the First President was held.

On 26 November, 2018 Deputy Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Elbassy, Gulzat Kobenova and chief scientific officer of geopolitics and regional studies Zhansaya Zhabina took part in the International parliamentary conference "Astana – the center of global integration, peace and security", organized by the Mazhilis of the Kazakh Parliament. The parliamentary conference is timed to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On 21 November, 2018, the international round table "Environmental challenges in the region of Central Asia at the present stage and in the future: search for joint solutions" organized by the center for research initiatives "Ma'no" and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Central Asia was held in the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent.
