On June 4, 2012 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place a competition-festival of children art “Colour mosaic”. It is held according to the traditional joint event of the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan and the Children Art School within the limits of the Museum project "View from childhood".
The festival is timed for the International Children Protection Day which is not only one of the most joyful holidays for children, but also a reminder for adult that children need their constant care and protection and that adults are responsible for them.
In the competition took part about 70 children from 6 to 13 years. The participants of the festival could take part in one of three competitions: «Face art» - face tattoo with aqua-face-paint, drawing about Astana on the easel, drawing with the chalk on the asphalt. The active work of art studio of the Museum and a creative staff of the Children art school annually make a real holiday the meetings with the children creation. The works of young artists – the participants of the festival will be placed in the hall of the Museum.
In the awarding ceremony of the winners took part: the deputy director of the Museum K.K. Aktaeva, the director of Astana Children art school G.Zh. Issenova, and also the chairman of jury, academician of Arts Academy of RK, honored worker of culture of RK, Professor T.B. Batanov.
The guests and the participants of the competitions were admired by the performances of the creative staff of Astana music school No. 1. They were noted by the letter of thanks from the Museum of the First President of RK.
