DEVELOPING INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION. A. RAKHIMZHANOV MET WITH THE PRESIDENTS OF THE JAPANESE HONDA FOUNDATION AND THE GOI PEACE FOUNDATION

On September 23, 2019, within the framework of the visiting scientific and exhibition project of the Library of Elbassy "Kazakhstan-Japan: the way to a nuclear-free world", held in Tokyo, Director of the Elbassy Library Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov met with President of the Honda Foundation Mr. Hiroto Ishida.

During the meeting, A. Rakhimzhanov thanked the Japanese colleagues for the hospitality and warm welcome and offered to develop cooperation in the framework of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Japan. He also noted that the international Symposium "Innovative technologies in the field of rational use of natural resources" held jointly with the Honda Foundation in May 2018 with the participation of 18 scientists from Japan and a number of authoritative representatives of the political, business and scientific elite of Kazakhstan gave a new impetus to the development of innovative technologies of environmental orientation and solving problems of rational use of natural resources, socio-political and scientific problems, allowed outlining specific ways of development of "green technologies", it united the efforts of scientists of our countries in the development and conservation of natural resources in the world.

President of the Honda Foundation Mr. Hiroto Ishida supported the proposal to develop cooperation and stressed that the positive experience of joint activities will contribute to the expansion of the partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged gifts.

 

  

On September 19, 2019, on the sidelines of the international conference "Kazakhstan-Japan: the way to a nuclear-free world", Director of the Library of Elbassy Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov also met with President of the Goi Peace Foundation, Mr. Hiroo Saionji. The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation.

The Goi Peace Foundation is one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Japan, carrying out extensive international activities in the field of promoting peace initiatives.
