THE EXHIBITION FROM THE ARCHIVES AND COLLECTIONS OF THE LIBRARY OF ELBASSY "TARIHI TAŃDAÝ" WILL OPEN IN THE CENTRAL CONCERT HALL "KAZAKHSTAN"

On November 27 at 16.00 within the decade of events of the Library of Elbassy, dedicated to the Day of the First President, in the Central Concert Hall "Kazakhstan" (10/1 Mangilik El Ave.,) the opening of the exhibition "Tarıhı tańdaý" will be held.

On the basis of a set of archival materials and unique items of the museum collection of the Elbassy Library, a panorama of the most important events of 1991 will be presented: the election of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acquisition of state sovereignty.

Among the exhibits, the white felt carpet - a symbol of popular support of the elected President Nursultan Nazarbayev, occupies a special place. Visitors will also be able to see the order "Altyn Kyran", which is awarded to citizens for outstanding state merits to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A special place will be taken by a unique collection of the highest state awards of Elbassy N. Nazarbayev from around the world, with more than 40 items. This collection is systemically important because it reflects a wide range of outstanding achievements of Elbassy in promoting the ideas of a nuclear-free world, peacekeeping initiatives, global security, and integration processes.

The exhibition will also feature 145 books from the Personal library of Elbassy. The book fund objectively records various stages and individual episodes of the biography of the owner of the collection, his labor and state activities. The personal collection of books is an accurate indicator of the owner, his interests and preferences, it reflects his spiritual and intellectual life.

In total, the exhibition will feature more than 220 exhibits.
