In the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was opened the fund exhibition of works of fine arts. It continues a series of the actions dedicated to the celebration of the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate.
The exhibition represents unique works of the Polish artist Bronislaw Zaleski - a series of etchings «Life of the Kazakh steppes», created in the period from 1820 to 1880. B. Zaleskis etchings are not only skillfully executed works of art, but also a valuable source of traditional Kazakh societys history.
The collection of works of the famous modern Kazakhstan artists carries us to the legendary past of the Great steppe. The images of «Kyz Zhibek», duels between batyrs, the faithful companion of a nomad – a horse and vast expanses of the native land have something common among them and create a complete associative array. At the exposition are works of A. Smagulova, K. Azhibekov, A. Kazgulov, Zh. Kakenuly, D.Tayvanzhargal, D. Melnikov and R. Kulbatyrov.
