Model UN Central Asia is an international dialogue platform, held in the mode of discussion of global ideas within the UN, where students and senior school students reproduce the work of the UN bodies. The purpose of each meeting is to discuss the given issues, as well as to prepare and adopt a resolution within the competence of each Committee.

The project was initiated in 2017 on the basis of the Elbassy Library together with the NGO "Country of the Great Steppe" in honor of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's joining to the UN, as well as the election of Kazakhstan as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018.

In 2018, the project was supported by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy. More than 160 delegates from 10 countries of near and far abroad took part in the I International Model of the UN of Central Asia.

- General Assembly;
