On December 5 this year, the final exhibition and the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Republican program to support children's creativity and organizations of additional education "Tugan olkem" took place in the Library of Elbassy.
The Republican program "Tugan olkem", which arose as a response to the program article of N. Nazarbayev "Ruhani zhangyru", is aimed at identifying young talents and promoting the work of organizations of additional education. The program continues the joint activities of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy and the Children's Art School - UNESCO club Nur-Sultan, in particular the partnership project "View from childhood" implemented since 2005.
- I am glad to see familiar faces again and congratulate everyone on the recent Day of the First President and the upcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the end of the year, it is customary to sum up the results. We had a very busy, fruitful year, and an important place among our activities takes the children's project "View from childhood", within which already the second year the Republican program to support children's creativity and organizations of additional education "Tugan olkem" has been implemented. Last year, the Library of Elbassy hosted exhibitions of works by graduates of Children's Art Schools of Semey, Shymkent, Pavlodar, and Ekibastuz. This year we have seen how multifaceted and deep the talent of children from Karaganda, Shakhtinsk, and Kokshetau is. And this is only the beginning because there are a lot of gifted children in Kazakhstan and the geography of our project will only expand every year. For this purpose, the Library of Elbassy is always open! - noted, opening the event, Director of the Library of Elbassy Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov.
At three exhibitions this year were presented more than 200 diploma works, made in different techniques and genres. The 30 best of them featured at the rewarding of the laureates of the program "Tugan olkem".
In the nomination “Best Student”, the winners were Anna Pak, Lidia Levitskaya (Children's Art School No. 1 of Karaganda); Kira Kalugina, Altynshash Salykova (Children's Art School - UNESCO Club of Shakhtinsk named after Aubakir Ismailov); Irina Panchenko, Nazilya Kanapina (Children's Art School, Kokshetau); Bayan Beisembekova, Diana Zhumegerey (Children's Art School No. 1, Nur-Sultan). The children were awarded diplomas, books, and sets for artistic creativity. In addition, their teachers’ work was commended.
The graduates of the Arts School of Kokshetau, the winners of the competition, shared their emotions:
- My creativity gives me the opportunity to express myself, to convey my emotions, thoughts, to decide on the choice of profession. I am grateful to my Art School and the organizers of the project for the opportunity to participate and show my works. It is very pleasant to become one of the winners of this competition, I am very glad that the jury highly appreciated my work. Thanks!
- I like to participate in creative competitions, because it is not only a new experience, but also the emotions that I get in the process of writing a picture, the impressions of other people from my work, the feedback. It inspires me. In my painting, presented at the exhibition, I depicted Shokan Ualikhanov. And although that was not his main occupation, but he is considered the first Kazakh artist. After all, during his travels, he made sketches. Initially, Sh. Ualikhanov used ink and pencil, but later he began to paint with watercolors. His works were the first images of the Kazakh steppe made by its indigenous inhabitant. He left about 100 drawings.
In the nomination "Best teacher", the teacher of the Children's Art School No. 1 of Karaganda Dinara Akparova, the teacher of the Children's Art School - UNESCO Club of Shakhtinsk named after Aubakir Ismailov Almaz Abdigalikov, the teacher of the Children's Art School of Kokshetau, the teacher of the highest category Irina Maksimova and the teacher of the Children's Art School No. 1 of Nur-Sultan Aliya Utepova were awarded.
- First of all, I want to thank the leadership and employees of the Library of Elbassy for supporting this unique project "Tugan olkem", which united the creative community of Kazakhstan. The Organizing Committee also expresses its gratitude to the students and teachers of Children's Art Schools of Kazakhstan for their titanic work and love for creativity. The project started in 2017 and is already a huge success. Teachers of regional art schools held wonderful master classes in fine arts for children of the capital. We wish this project further success and prosperity! I congratulate you on the upcoming holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan! - said Director of Children Art School - club UNESCO, Nur-Sultan Gulziya Isenova.
