The exhibition "Iranian calligraphy" was opened in the Museum of the Elbassy Library. The collection of works of the artist Said Hushmanesh has been specially prepared for this event and delivered to Astana.
The exhibition is organized by the Elbassy Library together with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of the international project "Dialogue through culture". Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Majid Samadzada Saber took part in the presentation of the exhibition. The exhibition presents 40 paintings by the artist. As a master, he conveys knowledge to students at several universities in Iran, he is the author of the book "The Art of teaching calligraphy".
- I think that thanks to this exhibition the relationship of our peoples will become even deeper. This is the fine art that I have been living for 27 years - 7 of them I spent on learning the craft. I am interested in creating works of calligraphy, each time using a new technique, – said the artist.
- Thanks to the international project "Dialogue through Culture", the Iranian calligraphy is one of the most subtle and symbolic areas of the visual arts that visitors of our museum have the opportunity to discover, - said Deputy Director of the Library of Elbassy Kulyaisha Aktayeva, opening the event.
- I sincerely thank the people of Kazakhstan who showed interest in the ancient art of Iran. Our goal is to develop cooperation, especially in the sphere of culture and traditions of our peoples", - Iranian Ambassador Majid Samadzada Saber said in his speech.
