Within the framework of the Uly dala tarlandary project, the Library of Elbassy hosted a meeting with the winner of the project "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan" in the "Business" nomination - fashion designer, director of Zhuzbay Design LLP Aizhan Zhuzbay. During the meeting, a fashion show was held, where the designer presented her collection of modern costumes in the national color.
A. Zhuzbay was born in Arys in 1991, she graduated from Karaganda Commercial College in 2010, then studied at the Beijing Institute of Fashion and Technology at the Faculty of Artistic Fashion Design. In the same Institute, she received a master’s degree at the faculty "Textile chemistry, processing and engineering".
In 2015, the fashion designer presented her clothing line as part of the celebration of the 24th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Beijing, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China, in 2016 registered the Zhuzbay Design LLP in the capital of Kazakhstan and the ZHUZBAY clothing line. In the same year, Aizhan opened the Chinese fashion week – Mercedes Benz China Fashion Week, becoming the first designer in Central Asia to receive such an honor. Also during the fashion Week in the most famous art district of Beijing (Art Zone 798), in order to develop an interest in Kazakh culture, she built a real eight-rope Kazakh Yurt.
Under the "ZHUZBAY" brand, collections of the Prêt-à-porter, Prêt-à-porter de luxe class are being created, and Haute Couture collections are planned to be released in the future. Some of the collections are made in Shymkent, Karaganda and Nur-Sultan, while others are made in Mumbai. The main creative part is made in Beijing studio. Shoes and bags are produced in Italy. A peculiarity of the brand is the unique and harmonious combination of ethnic style and modern tendencies of minimalism, the mythology of Kazakhs, cultural peculiarities, vivid images of steppe nomads is actively used.
Aizhan Zhuzbay hopes in the future to start her enterprise on production of quality, recognizable and demanded clothing and textiles on the international market, to create new jobs, to provide Kazakhstanis with high-quality, affordable and fashionable products, to revive native Kazakh embroidery, the culture of finishing leather and fur products.
– We are very glad and proud that among the youth of Kazakhstan there are true patriots who popularize the history, culture, traditions of the Kazakh people in high fashion, - said Deputy Director of the Library of Elbassy Botagoz Kaipova, welcoming the guest.
Aizhan Zhuzbay got acquainted with the exhibitions and expositions of the new museum complex. A big and pleasant surprise for the designer was the exhibition "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan", in which she found her name.
