Opening the event, Director of the Library of Elbassy, Doctor of political science, Professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov noted:

"In historical terms, all these books are united by a single general theme - each of them in its own way reveals the multifaceted political activities and unique experience of the First President of Kazakhstan-Elbassy Nursultan Nazarbayev on creating and comprehensively strengthening the statehood, uniting the multinational people of Kazakhstan, forming a stable, prosperous and spiritual society, developing cooperation and partnership with leading world powers, as well as his peacekeeping ideas. All these publications were prepared within the scientific program "The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy N. Nazarbayev: strategy of public administration and the phenomenon of leadership", head of which is Head of the Office of Elbassy, doctor of political science, professor Mahmud Kassymbekov".

In his speech, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of political sciences Kuanysh Sultanov, shared a commentary on the two-volume publication "Nursultan Nazarbayev: Leadership Strategy". The book tells about the 30-year state activity of Elbassy, starting with his appointment as the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, his invaluable contribution to the economic and political prosperity of Kazakhstan, his historical role in the recognition of a sovereign state by the world community.

"The new generation should not experience the difficulties that the previous generation went through. It must live and thrive in an independent state. And it is these books that contain information of how our independence was achieved, and it teaches us to value it. Therefore, it is our duty to popularize such literature, distribute it among young Kazakhstanis, so that they understand what means the independence of the country, the state security, the patriot of the nation, the spirituality of the nation, its goals and aspirations."

Among new books there is a collection "Eurasian Initiatives of N.Nazarbayev: History, State and Prospects," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the idea of Eurasian integration and the 5th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. As the Director of the Kazakhstan branch of the Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov, Doctor of Economic sciences Alexander Sidorovich stressed in his speech, within the framework of the Eurasian Union the special value of the fixed obligation of all countries became the agreed policy.

The declaration of Eurasian principles is the concept of entering the new world of the independent state of Kazakhstan. N. Nazarbayev chose the path not of confrontation, but of openness on the basis of new principles of mutual understanding and indispensable respect for the national values of his country. The Eurasian idea, which was created by outstanding minds, is similar in meaning and potential to this approach of N. Nazarbayev, A. Sidorovich noted.

"Memoirs of Elbassy's contemporaries" is a collection of memoirs of N.Nazarbayev's colleagues who supported him in the first years of independence, during the formation of a new model of statehood, who worked together with the First President and bore witness to the achievements and success of the country. The first Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Academician Tuleutay Suleimenov shared the memories of Elbassy’s work in the 1960s in Temirtau:

"The furnaceman of the metallurgical plant, Party Secretary Nursultan Nazarbayev wrote a smashing article in the newspaper "Pravda". He spoke about the activities of the plant, the needs of metallurgists, residents of Temirtau. In Soviet times, this was not easy at all, you had to be very brave to do it. ... ... And he got a hearing from the plant at the secretariat of the CPSU Central Committee. This was a great achievement for the Republic, thanks to which the corresponding resolution of the Central Committee was adopted. Both the plant and the city were developed and social facilities were built. Residents of Temirtau remember this and express their gratitude, it will remain in history for life."

Igor Rogov, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the first President of Kazakhstan - Elbassy, Doctor of Law, Professor, also spoke about his experience with Elbassy in the 1990s:

"I remember working on constitutional issues since 1995. All the constitutional reforms took place before my eyes, and I took part in them. One idea that I would like to emphasize in the legal development of our country, which was determined by Elbassy, is a clear sequence of reforms. They are all directed from a rather rigid state mechanism, such as the presidential form of government in 1995, to more and more democratization, decentralization of power and increasing the competence of the Parliament and the Government."

State and public figure, Doctor of technical sciences Kabidolla Sarekenov noted that in the era of the Internet, it is very important to turn the eyes of the new generation to books and appealed to young people:

"Today, the creators of these books and our history are sitting in this hall with you. And each of them deserves that you know them, those who stood at the origins of Independence and together with Elbassy contributed to the strengthening of the state."

In addition, among new editions "On the way to the nuclear-free world: initiatives of Elbassy", devoted to peace initiatives of the First President of Kazakhstan and his policy on creation of the zones free from nuclear weapon for the benefit of all mankind as well as a collective monograph "The Idea of "Mangilik El": past, present, future", which reflects the role of Elbassy as the founder of a new model of Kazakh society.
